Scrum for Hardware Design

Scrum for Hardware Design extends the popular Scrum software design process to hardware - mechanical, electronic, systems or mechatronics.  It breaks the process into thirteen activities characterized by meetings and developing artifacts as shown in the infographic and table.

Scrum for Hardware Design includes all the information you need to teach or execute the process.  Further, it includes two real-world case studies:

  • A Student Team Designs a Prosthetic Arm Using Scrum Methods.

  • Agile Design of an Agile Fighter at Saab Aerospace.
